KIARA GULATI
Instructor

Kiara was exposed to distinct flavors and cuisines from an early age, growing up in a Spanish and Indian immigrant household. She inherited her wonder of cooking from her parents, taught to view cooking as an expression of love, a way to ground ourselves with the world, and as an outlet for creativity.

Following her passion for accessible education and connecting people to the earth, Kiara received her Bachelor’s in Geography with a minor in Earth Science. She is excited to teach younger generations about where our food comes from and how it nourishes our bodies.

Kiara believes cooking can be an enjoyable experience that cultivates community and brings out our inner artist. In this sense, she views food as a universal language with different dialects.

In her free time she is a camping enthusiast, avid hiker, and a proud advocate of farm to table and “don’t yuck my yum!”
