WAYS TO GIVE

Ways You Can Help Support Kids Cooking for Life

Support our mission to help inspire life-long healthy habits.

There are many ways to give and most are tax deductible; cash donation, in-kind, sponsorship, a bequeathal, matching gifts via your employer, and of course volunteering. We welcome all of them. We’re always happy to discuss any of these options in more detail. Feel free to contact us.

Your investment helps fuel the ecosystem of support for under-served Bay Area communities.

Login to your Facebook account. On the left, click Fundraiser > Raise money and choose Kids Cooking for Life. Contact us for help.

Supporters are especially generous during the holidays, making it the perfect time to raise money.

If you love us, and want to ensure Kid Cooking for Life thrives beyond your lifetime, you can include us in your estate distribution plans. A bequest in your will, life insurance policy, retirement fund or charitable remainder trust, can be as large or small as you like. Your donation can offer significant tax relief and in some cases generate lifetime income for your beneficiary.

Give the gift of a Kids Cooking for Life shirt, bag, hat and more.

Hosting a matching gifts fundraiser is a great way to double your funds especially during the holiday season.

Increase your donation by giving through your company’s matching gift program, it doesn’t cost you a penny.

Another way to make an impactful and lasting contribution is by donating stock, bond and mutual fund shares. They’re tax deductible and you don’t have to pay capital gains tax on the appreciation. Also, did you know that an IRA Charitable Rollover is a tax free way of giving if you’re over 70 and a half? In most cases any donation up to $100,000 is tax free. Either of these options can be done easily with the help of your broker.

Donating goods and services is another great way of aligning yourself with us, and getting your business seen. We’re always happy to work with you on transactions such as classroom support and other non-monetary donations. Contact us first, to check you’ve got what we’re looking for.

When someone cooks for you, they are saying something. They are telling you about themselves: where they come from, who they are, what makes them happy.
