Shannon has 30 years’ experience providing financing to companies in emerging markets, to help them meet their growth targets and align with international environmental, social and governance standards. During her tenure at International Finance Corporation (a member of the World Bank Group), she worked in the venture capital team based out of San Francisco focusing on the international edtech and health tech sectors. Previously, based in Beijing for 20 years, she managed a $2b loan and equity investment portfolio for IFC and worked for a multinational, where she negotiated three US-China joint ventures in the aviation sector.  Shannon loves to explore new cultures and cuisines, and share the excitement of tasting new dishes with others.  She is also a language buff and rows on an adult crew team in Marin.
