Anna is the current Director of Research Essentials for Dragonfly SCI, a sensory and consumer research consultancy based in the bay area. She has over 10 years of experience applying her knowledge of sensory and consumer science for small, medium and large food, personal care and ingredient companies such as Amy's Kitchen, PepsiCo and Unilever. Anna is now combining her passions for teaching and sensory science to help Dragonfly SCI's mission to help teams of all sizes gain valuable knowledge to drive product success through the application of sensory and consumer research tools. Anna earned her master's degree in food science and technology from the University of California, Davis.
Kids Cooking for Life is proud to offer professional development sessions for its staff. Our first session was with Rachael Katz, author of the book ‘The Emotionally Intelligent Child.’ Rachel is an expert in evidence-based social-emotional learning, especially within children’s education. Her focus is on helping children to become effective communicators who are more able to regulate their behavior and ride the waves of their emotions.
