Simple Black Bean Dip/Spread
This delicious kid favorite black bean dip is so flavorful, healthy and easy to make.
Ingredients
- 1 15-ounce can of black beans, rinsed and drained
- ½ cup fresh cilantro leaves (large stems removed)
- ¼ small onion
- 1 Tablespoon sweet mild small peppers, chopped
- 1 small garlic clove, peeled
- 2 Tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon honey
- ⅛ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon ground pepper
Vegetable Sticks
- Carrot, washed and cut into strips
- Celery, washed and cut into strips
- Bell peppers, washed and cut into strips
Instructions
- Put all ingredients for the dip in a blender/food processor and process until it’s smooth.
- Serve with vegetable sticks.
